Please join us for our 2nd Annual Black Excellence Party! 

At BE, we are enthused to rejoice once again to celebrate another successful year for our organization. We have intentially aimed our efforts at serving under-represented and marginalized segments of our community. Black Excellence has generated a platform for creating racial and socioeconomic equality, particularly for Black Americans, our neighboring families, our youth, and many others in the Des Moines community with inclusive, social, cultural and educational services. We partnerned with the Boys and Girls Club to provide educational sessions in the classroom as well as Harding Middle School where our members presented about their educational pathways. BE also partnered with Roosevelt High School to serve as mentors for their students. BE received the opportunity to fund healthy pre-game meals for the East High School football program providing roughly 30 meals. MANY MORE! 

The Black Excellence Ball event will shed light on those who helped fulfill our mission and allow us the opportunity to showcase our appreciation and gratitude. Join us in a well deserved celebration!
